Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and MY Dijital Pazarlama Ajansi of Iskenderun, Hatay, Turkiye, the operator of Home Build Calculators at https://homebuildcalculators.com. By opening a page, running a calculator or copying a material list from this site, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What this site provides
Home Build Calculators publishes browser based calculators and written guides for residential construction planning: concrete and mix quantities, roofing squares and underlayment, framing lumber and sheathing counts, drywall sheets and compound, paint coverage, insulation, decking, flooring, ground materials and rough cost ranges for those materials. The complete list is on the tool index. Everything is published for general planning and education. No account, registration or payment is needed to use it.
Calculator results are planning estimates
Results produced on this site are planning estimates based on the dimensions and options you enter and on published formulas, standard coverage figures and typical waste allowances. They are not a bid, a quote, a takeoff prepared by an estimator, a structural calculation or an engineering approval. Actual quantities and costs vary with site conditions, local code, product batch, supplier packaging and labor rates. Read the disclaimer before you order material or commit to a budget, and confirm any load bearing, structural, electrical, plumbing or mechanical figure with a licensed professional. The formulas and reference material behind each tool are listed on the methodology and sources page.
Acceptable use
You may use this site for your own projects and for your work, including printing or exporting a material list for a job. You may not do any of the following.
- Copy substantial parts of the calculators, guides, tables or code and republish them, with or without attribution.
- Scrape, crawl or bulk download the site at a rate that degrades it for other visitors, or bypass any rate limit.
- Reverse engineer a calculator in order to sell it or embed it in a commercial product without written permission.
- Interfere with the site, its hosting, its advertising or its analytics, or attempt to gain access to systems or accounts.
- Click on advertisements artificially, or encourage others to do so, whether by script or by instruction.
- Upload or transmit anything unlawful, or use the site to infringe the rights of another person.
We may block access where any of the above occurs.
Intellectual property
The calculator logic, page code, written guides, illustrations, data tables and the arrangement of the site are owned by MY Dijital Pazarlama Ajansi or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Mathematical formulas themselves are not owned by anyone, and you are welcome to use a result in your own project documentation. You may quote a short passage with a visible link back to the source page. Anything beyond that needs written permission from bilgi@mydijital.com.tr. Third party trademarks, including manufacturer and product names used to identify coverage rates, belong to their owners and are used for identification only.
Advertising and third party content
This site carries advertising supplied by Google AdSense and its partners. Advertisements are labeled and are placed so they can be told apart from the calculators and the editorial content. We do not select the individual advertisers, we do not endorse the products or services advertised, and an advertiser has no influence over a calculation, a formula or a recommendation. Any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and that advertiser. How advertising cookies work, and how to change your choices, is explained in the privacy and cookie policy.
Links to other sites
Guides link out to manufacturer specification sheets, standards bodies, trade associations and government agency documents so you can check a figure at its source. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.
Feedback
If you send a correction, a suggestion or a sample project, you allow us to use it to improve the site without payment or obligation. Please do not send confidential drawings or client information. See the editorial policy and corrections log for how corrections are handled and recorded.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and everything on it are provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non infringement. We do not warrant that a calculator is without errors, that a price figure is current, that a formula suits your jurisdiction, or that the site will be available without interruption.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MY Dijital Pazarlama Ajansi and anyone working with it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost time, wasted material, rework, delay, code violation, failed inspection or property damage, arising out of or connected with your use of this site or reliance on any result it produces. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to one hundred United States dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to hold MY Dijital Pazarlama Ajansi harmless from claims brought by a third party, such as a client, contractor or supplier, arising from your use of this site in a way that breaks these terms.
Availability and changes to the site
Calculators are added, corrected, merged and sometimes retired. We may change or withdraw any part of the site at any time, and we do not promise that a URL, a formula version or a reference table will remain unchanged.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The effective date at the top shows the current version, and continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Turkiye, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts of Iskenderun, Hatay, Turkiye have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
Severability
If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
